I got around having a fiddle yard by having a two level layout and hiding the fiddle yard under the main station,but still having access to the tracks from above by removable platforms aswell as at the side and not have to keep removing trains to put others on the layout.

George i have the length at 21ft but the width is only 6ft 5" on the ends and 6ft in the middle of the loft as the beams overlap each other on both side of the loft,but if i had £1000 i would of bought the 20'x10' shed i seen at the begining of the year and would of had my layout in that then ...

I'm only using setrack for the layout as it save alot of time trying to do curves in flexi and that my points cost between £4.50-£6.00 each,but if i ever make another layout in a much bigger space then all track will be Peco streamline track.

My 8 Road Fiddle Yard is below the main station so the train have some where to go and not be seen doing just loops which is boring,so my trains can do a loop of the lower level then go up the incline to do a loop through the main station and then back down on the return incline.

Been alot busy over the weekend getting the long side of the upper level done but still need to fit two more supports then i'll work on the otherside to complete all the upper level over the fiddle yard,also moved all my trains back into the loft and ran them around the layout twice on the inclines ...

Thats the fiddle yard entrance and it will have a board over it for the upper tracks that will go into the station,and i still have another 3 to fit on that part which i'll do tomorrow.

I had a change of plan today as i was going to do some more supports for the upper level so i could lay the boards for the upper level but i decided to get pass the track laying stage once and for all,so i fitted 5 Peco point motors to the fiddle yard entrance but had to modify the arms so they work...
