Re: A few pictures from the South

Dave (G) Top one works fairly well, the track draws the eye to the loco and the length of the train. The second pic is the one I feel could do with letting the loco a little further into the scene as Dave (PT) says, easier said then done - just let the camera rattle off a few more pics as the loco r...

Re: A few pictures from the South

I agree with Dave - a little more forwards perhaps...but that's just being picky! Nice shots though, I'm envious as I missed all the fuss as I was in Scotland.

Re: adam's photos

Some nice shots there Adam, literally no passengers standing around. This gives full attention to the train and a nice choice of locations too - where are these taken?
Nice to see you got the three duffs, the Colas steels and 401!! Good effort sir!

Re: NXEC to Ban Trainspotters?

BTW, South West Trains don't seem to issue platform tickets - I've asked at several stations and they all say the same thing 'Don't sell them anymore'. I've asked my Rev Pro mate to look into it.

Re: A few pictures from the South

Despite come out of the sun, the exposure is good.
Glad you managed to see it, the timings were a little random throughout the day, I managed to get it at Eastleigh in the morning, as well as the Wool and the 3 duffs and ECS move from Crewe in the afternoon.

Re: NXEC to Ban Trainspotters?

Is TSSA stiring it up? Can NXEC really stop trainspotters considering that most station are owned by NR and NR, along with BTP, issue guidelines which rail enthusiasts should follow. If you have a valid ticket, what can they do?
