Re: davieboys Photos Updated + 2 vids

Interesting bunch of pics Chris. Where was the photo of the two 66s on coal trains taken - is that from an easily gained vantage point?

Re: A few pictures from the South

The sun can be a pain, my part of the line is really limited in views and then the sun cuts that down too!

Well caught TOm.
If anyone needs times for the return trip on Monday, PM me.
I caught the 'move of the week' which was 47580 + 50026/50035/37308 from OOC to EH!

Prossibly clicked over onto Tuesday due to the Bank Holiday Monday...

I like the cathedral shot - that'll be good on a sunny day, but I suspect a long lens would be required

Re: Terrier's Photographs.

Indeed! 27007 is one of the handful of loco's owned by 71A Locomotive Group which I'm a member of. We were working on the air-brakes and so had a good few start ups which turned the head of the crowds that were there for Thomas!

Nice shots - interesting to note that both lines seem to be bi-directional, as both 66 are heading the same direction but on different lines.

Nice! I missed this, I was down the Mid Hants with my head stuck inside 27007 sorting out the airbrakes!

Picking your days right at Preston I see - what with all those recent railtours and specials! Well done mate good shots, the Shap is particularly impressive. It's one place I want to shoot around, the last time I was in the area I had te missus with me and she was only prepared to let me go to Kingm...

Re: 47806 Goes Trainspotting

Interesting stuff Tom.
66141 was on 6L76 Stud Farm - Bury St Edmunds. The wagons look like MEAs to me. I'm just tapping someone to find out what 157 was on as TOPS has it as running a Z move.

EDIT: 157 on 6Z52 Attercliffe to Peak Forest empties.
