Re: Railway Quiz

I must admit I haven't been checking this thread (or any others for that matter) as often as I would normally. I go through a phase of not visiting the forum so much every so often, and this is my first post in a few weeks. It tends to coincide with times when I have other things on my mind.

Good point. It's so hard to decide who to vote for though, as they are all so different!

Re: The 2015 Forum Competition

Well done to all concerned, and especially PinkNosedPenguin for a well deserved win. I really need to up my game though - I've come last in every single competition so far! 8)

Re: And the next photo will have...(real railway version)

I can't believe that no-one has a picture of something from the GWR. Even a bench or a station sign would be good enough.

Not a great photo but: https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-G6uzhzLpd-0/VowF123_FuI/AAAAAAAABH4/CGlaVNQRuiM/s512-Ic42/2015-01-17%25252012.35.21.jpg 6024 King Edward I. And the next photo will have something from the GWR (could be in the modern day company of that name if you're feeling adventurous!).

I have started work on a GWR Python CCT I got for Christmas. Unfortunately I can't get the image to appear here. Will try again later.

I assume you mean the painting of the railway bridge, and not the road bridge? I'm sure Parkend's buildings won't be cracking apart when they are 50 years old!

Those wagons look superb. The weathering is simply excellent.
