Re: Megapoints Controller (Point Servos)

I have now received back the re-flashed board with the latest update and fitted it back on layout,
The re-flash of course came back with factory setting so I had to reset end-stops which is easy enough and expected.

I works a dream, nice slow movement, no twitching, fantastic.

Re: Megapoints Controller (Point Servos)

Yes that's the problem I have. other than that is fantastic, easy to wire, full instructions, slow and accurate movement. Its only that constant twitching that spoils it and if that's cured with a update they are perfect for me.

I have sent it back just waiting for it's return now, fingers crossed.

Re: Megapoints Controller (Point Servos)

Does anyone have the problem of twitching with Megapoints? I purchased a controller some time ago now. I have not been able to work on the railway for some time Before I had a forced break I was having some problems with the Points controller, the problem being that the servos twitch all the time. I...

Re: Coppenhall Goods (Late Crest) 00

OK How would the (1.) semaphore look similar to A. or B. or something else, should the bracket for the shunt signal be on the right as the head shunt is on the right?

Re: Coppenhall Goods (Late Crest) 00

I have not done much since last post but started tinkering again, There is one thing I must look at but have been avoiding that's signalling (I know nothing). My layout is Late crest around 1960-64. I know that a change over from semaphore to light signal's was around this time but what about on goo...

Dummy Point motors?

I have a few dummy point motors to fit to my layout, I want to get them orientated correctly! I am assuming they are universal or closest to the control point (Junction box/ signal box) in the real world or are they always to the left or right, facing the single line or vice versa. Can anyone help a...
