Thank you for your replays,I shall look up bullant and see what they have ,I really do love this old Pullman ,I thought I was strictly a steam era person but from browsing eBay I fell for one of these ,it has also turned my mind to wanting some diesels but from the early days.thanks again mjb

Hi flash bang,thank you for your informative reply,you are most likely right,I don't know why they can't all run off the on decoder via electrical connection from coach to coach,sounds like a bit of a money spinner ,anyway thank you again,it won't put me off I have seen a few dmu/emu that I like ,mjb

funny how i should come across this post,at the moment there is a set on ebay where it sounds like the seller as done a conversion,from what i can see it looks quite good,i might even be temted myself.

Hi,does anyone know if controllers from days gone are ok to use on modern day locos that are either dcc ready or not as I want to buy a bit of a vintage controller to use on my layout so I can buy trains from the 70s 80s etc and also be able to run modern day trains ,thanks

hello,does anyone know if controllers from 70s 80s 90s etc are ok to run the locos that are made now because the motors in them are bound to be different,also is it ok to run dcc ready locos as dc on these older controllers,thanks
