Re: Cheap Locomotives

Google, that's what I do ,I browse on eBay ,see something I like ,make a note of its number then google it,and you will be surprised in the price difference, even a second hand item on eBay ,you can still google it to check on its new price .

Re: why the big deal about keeping boxes ??

I keep all the boxes purely for safe storage purposes and future re-selling value,I have bought a lot of items off eBay and i always choose to buy items that come with there original box ,like most people I have quite a few locos and sets ,but you can't run them all at the same time so there they st...

Hi,I haven't had any problems using clear grains of wheat,if you wire two together,IN SERIES,then that will dim the brightness and it looks quite good, try it.

Re: It's my railway I run what I want

My layout is based on somewhere in north Yorkshire and about 1950s/1960s when there was still some steam and diesels were coming on the scene and even though I like to think it is these eras I am not afraid to run other trains from different eras,so yes it's your railway ,so run what you like.

Re: More ebay beauties

Just goes to show that you can sell anything on eBay,maybe the new owner has another damaged deltic and he's going to cut out the damage on both and put the good bits together,I suppose you could say it would be the 1st ever cut and shut deltic!
