depends what you're using it for, for fixing foliage to tree armatures hair spray or diluted PVA works fine in my experience :)

i have problems with locos with motors in back too. i had a black LMS hornby loco and right from the start it was all jerky and horrible. i still maintain that any designer who puts the moter in the tender was drunk :mrgreen:

i'm using metcalfe paving slabs at the moment, and they are very good (and slightly addictive :mrgreen: ) but dont try weathering them with anything wet whatever you do!! they just become a soggy mess as they are paper based. use dry materials for weathering. otherwise they are very good, fairly che...

unpainted people, as a general rule, are a lot cheaper because they are difficult to paint, so if you're any good, buy some and paint yourself. this is what my grandad did for me, he sent me a whole jar of people!

i know this isn't exactly what you asked for, but what i'm planning to do with my mew layout is to have small collections of buildings on their seperate board that gets taken off and stored under my bed when the layout goes against the wall

i was just looking at the coloured houses, do you reckon they would suit a seafront layout, i'm thinking of doing minehead inspired layout, still in planning stages, and those look perfect :D :D

had a great idea for motorsing turntable. use a drill. that would make it get a move on, and make the driver rather dizzy to i would imagine :lol: :lol:
