Thank you and yes I'm pretty sure

great work there, certainly a different colour to usual but a flying scotsman just doesn't look right in anything other than green, in the same way that a 9f is black, and the mallard is blue

Re: Dual Locos

i have a dc layout, and, as long a you're careful, you shouldn't have any problems. when i was a lot younger i used some of the faster locos to speed up the older, slower ones and i had no problems at all and they are all still running today(apart from the one that fell down the loft hatch  )

Re: Airfix 4f, running nightmare!

Further investigation, seems to show that the wheel wobble is actually causing the rear wheel on the left side, to lift off the track slightly. This seems to be causing the loco to lose electrical contact on points, and slightly uneven sections of track. if track is uneven, as my one was, have you ...

Re: Spray Glue

depends what you're using it for, for fixing foliage to tree armatures hair spray or diluted PVA works fine in my experience :)

Re: Airfix 4f, running nightmare!

i have problems with locos with motors in back too. i had a black LMS hornby loco and right from the start it was all jerky and horrible. i still maintain that any designer who puts the moter in the tender was drunk
