Mind you, what would be the price? Hornby are bad enough already with prices, I don't think they qould bother because even they mighyt realise it is too expensive.sorry for my. Appallingtyping, I'm writing this on a tablet and it is dificult :x

ooh, i feel very jealous, i live too far away too, i would love to join a model club, but my local one has gone and members now meet in the local pub, not really a suitable club for 13 year old me :(

having read all of the good rev's stories about thomas hundredds of timei can say that they were controlled by the drivers, but they took more of a backset role in driving them and left it to the engines. having said that though, i agree with ollie, i think the market it is aimed at hornby isn't ex...

with different height couplings you have to change the height gradually, so if you have a high one and a low one link them with one that is in the middle, particulary with wagons i find this a useful thing to do

thank you everyone for being so helpful, as i said before, i was just surprised how little anything on southern railways had travelled outside that region, not even to the south west. looked at all websites and going to place an order for a couple of books but as ever am short of money at the moment...

Wood is very acidic. (That's why paper goes brown.) Could damage your models if there's still acid left in the carbon. It's not as if proper weathering powders or pastels will break the bank. sorry, should have been more clear, i was considering just using it on the ground around the station yard, ...
