Re: DCC Supplies (Worcester)

They can be very hard to contact by phone and their email/log in systems leave a lot to be desired. I have tried all day every 15 mins and repeatedly got the same recorded message. They give the appearance of being busy but often I wonder

Re: How do tender driven engines run?

The repairability of Hornby ringfield drives in both bogies and tenders is down to the sheer number of the things that they made and the wide range of models they went in. The level of spares currently available is an indication of the need for them to be repaired, frequently. Variations to watch o...

Re: Tender-first operations

I thought the point of this exercise was for steam to pull a timetabled service at normal fares. I think Tornado would have been coupled in front of the (leading) loco in each direction between Skipton and Appleby. The diesel may have only supplying ETH over that section but would have been in char...

Re: Tender-first operations

I think you will find that the train is topped and tailed . Tornado only worked tender first for a positioning move. Re: 1361 class

Amazingly DJ models are doing this loco as well exclusively for KernowModelCentre. The list price is £35 less than Heljans, and the quoted £124.95 that some people have quoted for the Heljan version could well be this one? I don't know. clicky At least the Heljan one is here. How long for the DJ mo...
