Re: BrotherWolf's Rly Pics *Class 70* Updated 10/12/09

Some fantastic railway shots there. I cant help but wonder though, do you work on the railways or do you sometimes do a spot of trespassing? because some of your shots seem as though they are inside where any fences should be. sb :? Hi SB, Ithink the two shots you are referring too are below? I don...

Re: Eastern's Photos -

Some great pics there, that steam engine looks huge. All this talk of Spokane and Portland reminds me of Railroad Tycoon and trying to build a railway from St Pauls to Seattle.

Re: BrotherWolf's Rly Pics *Mostly 66 and HST* Updated 26/09

I haven't posted recently due to the terrible weather, however today was sunny and there was something worth going to have a look at. here are my first shots of the new Class 70's. I'll get some better shots when I remember to take my walking boots with me. They are all from the same spot but I've i...

Re: BrotherWolf's Rly Pics *DRS 66's, Royal Mail 325's*

It's been a while since I posted some pics, just had a week off and managed to get some "photting" in (not sure if I like the phrase :? ) Here's some stuff from the last couple of weks. I've tried to include some variety in locations. There are more pics from September HERE http://i103.pho...

Lydney Model Railway Show

Went to the show at Lydney today. Some excellent layouts there, took some pictures though I wasn't sure how well they would come out. In the end though I'm really chuffed with them. I think I need to sort out the depth of field but as a first attempt I'm quite happy. There are two 25's but they are ...

Re: July, August & September 2009 Railway Photography

I took a picture of 57 315 today, though it was looking a lot grimier in the drizzle. Hopefully get the Advenza freight too, if it ever deigns to run when I go down to the Severn.

Re: New Street station

What a great set of photographs. There is a real sense of age about most of them. If I could make one constructive suggestion, I'd like the option of clicking a photo to get to the next one rather than having to go back a page. Though with the amount of pics it would probably take quite a bit of tim...

Great to see a shot of a 50! Though I was never a big fan of the NSE livery.

Re: BrotherWolf's Rly Pics *New 24/06, 66's, Units and 91xx*

A bit of a change from the usual fare....these shots were taken inside the Royal Mail depot at Stonebridge (Wembley). Also known as PRDC in Royal Mail. The shots are of some 325's which are used on a service from/to Warrington and I believe there maybe a run to Scotland too. The depot was built main...

Re: Welders working at night

Interesting shot, I've always wanted to get a pic of when they cut the rail and the sparks are flying. Not that I'm ever likely to get the opportunity.
