Re: BrotherWolf's Rly Pics *Various* Updated 11/05/10

Cheers Adam, It wouldn't have been you driving would it? The photo was taken on the 8th Feb and is indeed 6B13 tanks. About 25 yrs ago I took a photo of a 37 in the same spot in fog and wanted something similar. I think it could have been better but there isn't much fog around now to have another go...

Re: BrotherWolf's Rly Pics *Class HST,60,66&70* Updated 9/03/10

OK it's been over a year since I posted somepics. Trouble with sciatica and a general lack of time mean I have been unable to get out much but here are a few shots. Hope you like them. First up a scene at Heyford that would make a great layout. Especially with the small canal basin next door. http:/...

I prefer the first one, though I think it would be improved with a wash of a slightly darker grey in the crevices.

Ordinarily I'd be jealous of pics of trains in the snow but now we have loads here, I can't be bothered to freeze to death by the lineside!

Re: Photo Hosting Sites

I use fotopic but also use photobucket for when I want to post a picture at 800px. I like fotopics layout, I could do it manually with my own ISP's allowance but I prefer fotopics ease of use. The only other biggie I suppose is flickr. davek I think hosts his own site using a downloadable format.......

Re: Railway Photograph of the Year Competition

OK, the vote for the passenger photo of the year is up now. Due to the amount of entries I've had to create two polls, we'll have a head to head to find the winner.

Freight may have to wait a day.....it takes longer than I thought!

Re: Railway Photograph of the Year Competition

Just a reminder that there are still a few days to get your entries in......the "unofficial" closing date will probably be Sunday as that's when I'll have the time to get the polls up.

Any problems with hosting, just let me know.
