Loved the sound of the 20....... do you get the clickety-click sound of the rails with the engine sounds?

That sounds so easy Infrontcat! Be sure to check the first end again...... I find you always have to have a couple of go's at bending the track to get it right. Adds a lot to realism though not using settrack.

BTW I use Xuron track cutters.

OK, bought some more platforms and a Peco depot kit. The kit itself was an absolute nightmare to build, and the locos don't go in and out without hitting the doors so its only for show but it looks pretty good!: That seems a big design flaw! I asked for a 33 for Xmas - I got a call on Saturday aski...

Great pics there, always thought 50's were the best looking loco's in BR blue.

I'd never have thought to start the scenery before all the track was laid.

BW, there was a fascinating programme on recently about this very subject ... possibly TimeTeam. I've often wondered why you see them in unlikely places ... it transpires that these boxes weren't placed randomly, but formed defensive lines that criss-crossed the country. Each one was there for a st...

One of the features of the area arond Marshfield, due to its coastal location on the Bristol Channel, are a string of WW2 pillboxes either near the railway or on the Sea Wall. I came across this kit by WILLS so I had to have one. http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i150/ramillies/pillbox1.jpg I live ...

Well the first loop has been completed through the fiddle yard which has allowed me to run in my new Heljan 47. Unfortunately this brought a halt to layout building as I watched the train go round. Why is it such a pleasure to see a train go round in a circle? Here is a diagram of the fiddle yard I ...

Grayholme - BrotherWolf's layout

Grayholme I should have posted this a month back but I wanted to have something to show. The Plan I'm not great with XtrkCad, but this gives a good idea of what the track plan will be. The biggest difference being that the station platforms won't be so thin! http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m128/...

Great footbridge Paul, like infrontcat I noticed the optional bit at the bottom......but if it's the only way to get the largest wagon underneath. Sorry to hear about the Hornby signal. As with much of their non rolling stock items, I find Hornby produce rubbish and get away with it on brand reputat...
