Re: BrotherWolf's Railway Pics **updated 23/05/08**

I thought I'd head down to the South Wales Mainline to try and get some freight pics for May's Competition. As you can see I failed miserably and only got these pics of Passenger trains. Perhaps it was practice for this months competition. Click on thumbnails for larger pics....... The first five pi...

Are you going to enter anything into the May Photographic Challenge?

Not sure at the moment, hoping to get down to the Glos-Chepstow soon. Hopefully before the end of May and hopefully some freight trains will appear.

Re: 70013 Oliver Cromwell is back!!

I like the top photo a lot......... I had a spare 5 mins so I edited it a bit. If you're unhappy about people messing with your photo's then let me know and I'll take it down. Just upped the contrast a bit and sharpened it a little. http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m128/stowfield/Steam/05.jpg

Re: BrotherWolf's Railway Pics **updated 23/05/08**

It's been a while since I posted some pictures. Here are a few steam specials followed by some DMU pictures taken on the Carmarten to Swansea line, all of these are in an area from just south of Kidwelly to just north of Ferryside. 46201 Princess Elizabeth north of Abergavenny. I was a bit disappoin...

Thank You,

Off to work now but I'll post the original later. The picture was cropped slightly and the contrast and saturation altered slightly. The big change though was to the sky but that will be easier to see by comparing the two.

The fiddle yard looks good, though can I just ask: are their only loco spurs on the inside for a reason? i.e. are they there as an 'off-scene' MPD To be honest it's more an 'off-scene MPD'.....though I'm not sure if there will be room. It seems you can always fit more on a plan than you can on the ...

Good grief, I can't believe I haven't updated this for so long. It's also a bit depressing that progress seems to be so slow. Actually given the amount of time I have it's not going too bad, it's just that there isn't much to photograph. Anyway here is a pic of the station platforms, they are very s...

Hi Mr T...... Looking at the layout, wouldn't it be more fun if you had two loops with and the long platform between the siding and outside loop?

If you've already considered this approach then kindly disregard this post.
