Re: Heat Shrink Tubing

Thanks for the replies everyone, I had read that it may be a heat gun but it seemed a bit over the top. I'll have to dig it out and have a go.

Re: Test Upload now succesful!

No problems with Flickr.....though personally I've never really been happy with the layout. I prefer Photobucket but only really used it as somewhere to store images online to post in forums.

I used to use fotopic till it went bust and I'm now happy with Smugmug, though this isn't a free service.

Re: Test Upload now succesful!

Here we go.......Upload picture to Photobucket, click on picture you want to show on NRM's, on the picture's individual page there are some links on the right, click on the bottom one [IMG], this will automatically copy the link. open up your "new post" on NRM, ctrl+V in the box and that s...

Re: Test Upload now succesful!

How did it fail? Have you uploaded something to PB already but can't get it to show on the site. If so let me know and perhaps we can solve the problem.

Re: Train Times

OK Jim but if you go to advanced and enter the details then you can get freight as in this example showing tomorrows Logs, Coal and Steel at Abergavenny between 1000 and 1400.

Train Times

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned before but I thought I'd mention the excellent http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/ website. It gives a list of trains at one spot and you can choose custom times. It's great if you're off photting and don't want to trawl through timetables. If you go to the advan...

Re: NCE - Additional power booster

Cheers for the advice FB. That PDF you linked is 13 pages long! Is the PSX-2 more than a dual output automatic overload unit? At first glance it seems to be the same as a NCE EB1.

Re: Test Upload now succesful!

Personally I'm not a great fan of the pics that need scrolling. If you want to get non scrolling pics then you can upload to photobucket and then link in from there. Photobucket is free to use, or at least it was last time I used it.

Congrats on the first pic though :-)

NCE - Additional power booster

I've got a NCE Power Pro 5amp system and I'm hoping to seperate the power into two different sections. One for the up line and one for the down. According to the manual I need a NCE PB105 unit but can't seem to find one, Is a NCE DB3a Booster a suitable replacement? on the other hand if anyone knows...

Great layout, enjoyed reading through the pages. Still finding it hard to believe it's N gauge, especially with the wonderful photo's!

Are these Electrofrog or Insulfrog?

Just a quick question regarding these points? I'm fairly sure that the top two are Electrofrog and the bottom is insulfrog but I'd like conformation. The thing that confuses me are the little connecting wires on the back. The top is a large radius point whilst the other two are medium. The top one s...

Re: BrotherWolf's Rly Pics Various Updated 01/10/12

Lovely shots - what livery is the 67 in? Cheers PT, the 67 is in the rather fetching Arriva Trains Wales Livery. 67's are used on the WAG (Welsh Assembly Government?) service between Holyhead and Cardiff. It's funded by the WAG to enable closer ties between North and South Wales. One in the morning...

Re: BrotherWolf's Rly Pics *60 and 66's* Updated01/10/12

OK, It's been a while since I posted but as my new attempt at a model railway will be starting soon I'll probably be more active on the forum. To get things going here are some shots from over the summer. To put a limit on things I've decided not to include more than one shot of any class. Bad luck ...
