Re: BrotherWolf's Rly Pics **New Pics 16/09/08 mixed bag**

As a lot of you may know, a tanker was derailed on Friday betwee Gloucester and Bristol. Along with engineering work this resulted in Crss Country Voyagers taking the scenic route by the severn. There are also some pics of scheduled freight. There are more shots at http://brotherwolf.fotopic.net/c15...

Re: BrotherWolf's Rly Pics **New Pics 16/09/08 mixed bag**

Cheers for that Karl. I think I'd seen the timings without really looking at them. It looks as though 3 of the 4 serices will be passing through Abergavenny/Hereford in darkness through most of the winter :? 1W01 0610 Llandudno Junction-Cardiff looks like the only one in daytime......and that only j...

Re: BrotherWolf's Rly Pics **New Pics 16/09/08 mixed bag**

Some really nice shots throughout this thread BW. Some really nice locations too - are they all close to you? I would say I was envious, but perhaps I just haven't found the ones near me. Ought to explore a bit more really. Is it just me that thinks we're struggling a bit when a Class 59 has enough...

Re: BrotherWolf's Rly Pics **New Pics 30/08/08**

A few pics from last friday/saturday. The first few are at Awre Crossing between Lydney and Gloucester with its disused signal box. The others are near Pandy on the Marches Line. The pic of the 59's on a railtour to Chester was disappointing. I thought I'd read they would be top and tailed which wou...

Re: Photograph Collections - Fotopic etc

Thanks for those tips. What can be done now they are online? I've just had a quick look and it seems most of the pics are only around 500kb. You could always just submit pics to the 800x600 ish that are shown. Most people don't bother with full size images. This would require deleting some pics and...

Re: Photograph Collections - Fotopic etc

@ Jiffyman I didn't include the last o the list as that's a model railway based fotopic site. I was hoping to keep the list to the real thing for now. @ PTModeller About the space. I noticed that when I edited my pics with photoshop they went from 1.5mb to 6mb or 7mb. Since then I've started saving ...

Cheers Ollie, had a look at your Severn Valley pics, I really do need to get back there. Did you get to the new engine house at Highley?

Photograph Collections - Fotopic etc

I've just put my photo's on fotopic at http://brotherwolf.fotopic.net/ . I'm sure there are quite a few of you on here who also have collections online at Fotopic, Photobucket etc . If you do and you're happy for me (or anyone else) to put a link to it on their site then just post in this thread. A ...

Thanks, to be honest when I was there I didn't really notice how the curves looked. I only took the shot as a record of the trackside view.

Some interesting pictures at Tintern. I didn't realise the old signal box was still there. Perhaps I'll have to have a look next time I'm in the area.

Re: BrotherWolf's Rly Pics **updated 14/08/08 Deltic and 175's**

Thanks for the compliments Dave. Here are a few more shots, this time taken on the Golden Valley between Stroud and Kemble. This first pic used to be a great view of the viaduct at Frampton Mansell but a lot of trees seem to have grown since I was last there. So much so I spent 20 mins driving round...

http://i169.photobucket.com/albums/u233/Trolleybusracer/100_0166RS800x600.jpg I like this picture, my guess is it isn't really going this fast :o Those pics got me wondering, is it possible to get those trains as models? Not that I want one, I just wondered how easy it is to get models of Aussie ro...
