I like the steps, they look good. One idea, though, might be to do the front 'panel' in the same style as the retaining wall, with the real panel the same as the wall behind - might blend in a bit more then?

I can't believe noone has mentioned the good old class 142 Pacer - still in service everywhere I go in the North of England today! Uncomfortable and cramped, you do have to admit that they have stood the test of time, and every time they try to replace them on my line they come back due to 'technica...

There is something about this photo, even without the scenery (or much else!) that just makes me think 'wow'! I look forward to reading your progress Matt, it's looking great so far!

I bought a Pacer a while back on the Bay of Fools, in the GMPTE Orange, and it takes me back to my childhood. In fact our line still has them running to this day under Northern, and they do indeed have double fold doors still. And manky bus seats. They're still cool though, although give me a 101 an...

I went to my local Hobbycraft and couldn't get what I wanted, hence the layering up of thinner sheets... didn't notice the fibreboard though, so may take another gander.

Also a tad annoyed about the slightly wonky brick pillar, but can't have everything
