I live just outside of weymouth in upwey. Its handy to live so close as i work for fgw as a guard so when i go past on the train i sound the horn then the other half knows to get dinner on.... My dad lives 8foot from the north wales coast at rhyl the only reason he brought that house was the 37's us...

I have a picture of 4plus16 set or two sets joined together at exeter. Also got pics of back to back at totnes which was a shake down trips. And also 5 power cars with barrier coach as well.
Fgw run 2+8 and 2+7
axc is 2+7
I would go for a 2+6 i dont think it would make much difference

When i started my life on the railway . Virgin normaly used 47's and mark 2 stock on glasgow-penzance and also manchester to penzance. But i remember going to brighton with them on a trip they then had to use an 09 to shunt stock. Also they tried to keep the mk2 brake at the country end ie penzance ...
