Re: Windmill Hill Railway, a Preserved Railway in 00 Gauge

I haven't started on that yet, I'm leaving it for another day. Those card kits you get in the magazines are impossible for me to do :( Why not? They are quite simple if you get used to them, but I cocked it up a couple of times:(! UPDATE I have pinned down most of the station area, and laid some ba...

Re: The MSLR in OO scale

Hi Alexander You may have to look at the kit manufacturers for a Ruston diesel loco The prices for those could be a bit ouch! Some one might manufacture something useful. Don't forget the van and wagon to go with it :D regards John Well I've had a look and I can't find anything :( but i have some p...

Re: HORNBY 2011 THOMAS RELEASES

Re: The MSLR in OO scale

Wow those are some nice pics, i do miss the middy a lot these days. Interesting about the Ruston, I never knew, is it possible to get a kit for this loco? I wonder if there are any pictures of it working elsewhere. Actually just thinking about it, although it might not be strictly accurate, you cou...

Can't believe they'd drop one of the original "Three Railway Engines" somehow-Is he just getting a revamp perhaps? As Daleks04 rightly mentioned,Spencer the grey A4 should've been more widely available too-I'm one of the lucky few to have got my hands on it & even that was only throug...

Re: Simple branch line

It's great to hear that the plan is good. I spent some time trying to get as much operational function in it to keep the kids interested. When I first got back into OO a few years back after finding my old trains in my folks loft I went straight for a DCC Hornby set and started plans of building a ...
