Re: My Layout

Hi everyone, Not had much to update on recently, but finally something has come! It's only small, but we have filled in the rest of the screw holes on the board extension, and we just need to smooth them of now, then the track is ready for Final Testing and then pinning. Also, we have the wood for t...

Re: Hornby Thompson O1

They look to be a very good model coming out! Hopefully it will have alot of good detail on her. As posted before, hopefully the decoder will be in the tender, but without the annoying plug thing. It's okay for me with them as I've got one of them tools for removing them, however they are still very...

Re: Hornby train packs - are they value?

I think they are quite good value, I've got the Heart Of Midlothian pack which came with the Super Detailed A4, Falcon. However, I think that some of them are a bit of a rip of, like the ones which don't come with much Super detail, like the Caladonian Single ones. They should be more better priced,...

Re: Bittern

She was running great at Barrow Hill! I liked how she was positioned next to Mallard to start with, it made it look like Mallard was in Steam.

Re: My Layout

Hi Everyone, Again, sorry for the pictures been late. However, there are alot more of them now, so enjoy! So, today I went to my local model shop, Millemium models, to get the rest of the track I needed, with the exception of two points and a few straight pieces which will be fitted soon! So, the bo...

Re: My Layout

Sorry for no pictures, I have had chance to take them, but not get them up. Anyway, I have decided to move the Coaling tower to the 2nd access siding, I will explain it more in pictures when the track has been bought and put into place later this week.

Re: Briefcase layout - And now the Difficult Bit!

Wow, that looks amazing. You must be very good at modelling to model something that small, you have paid alot of attention to detail which I like. The Paint looks like a huge gas tanks (Or what I think are gas tanks!) that go up and down depending on the amount of gas in them, lol. A very good...

Re: My Layout

Hi everyone, Sorry for not updating again, not much has been happening and I forgot about the photos  Anyway, there has been quite a bit happening today and over the past week. The Extension for the board extension came and we fitted it earlier today, it fits in well and I will be planning the...

Re: Update on 4472 'Flying Scotsman'

I'm a bit confused now, if Flying Scotsman is not going to be July at the Earliest, then how is it going on a test run from Bury to York on May 31st? Or has that been cancelled too? I'm not bothered about it not been ready for Barrow hill, I would rather have Mallard there lol. Shame I won't be able...

Re: My Layout

Hi Everyone, Sorry for not updating for a while, not much has been happening, and there is nothing to get photos on I'm afraid. But a few things have happened luckily, so I'll tell you that. Firstly, we managed to fill most of the screw holes in with wood filler, to make it look a bit neater. Then w...
