Re: Points for R609

I've found the same problem; neither Hornby nor Peco do points that match 1st, 3rd or rth radius curves. Unfortunately it does look like it'll mean fiddling about with flexitrack, as in Alan Brady's post.

Re: Cobridge Sidings - OO DCC Shunting layout

In fact, I spent a good deal of Sunday afternoon at Stafford show running a shunting puzzle using just a simple two-siding layout such as this. You put a few trucks on the entry track, with a shunter on one end. On each truck you have a little sticky label with numbers on, and a pack of playing card...

Re: Gasforth Central: Stage One

Change of mind: Actually, a crossover could work, actually. Thanks craw607 :) I've been looking at ways to allow end-to-end running for, say, a DMU, whilst still allowing round-and-round running for loco-hauled passenger and goods stock. Re: Gasforth Central: Stage One

On previous designs there was a crossover, in place of the diamond arrangement, however I felt that all movements will be to or from the TMD anyway, so didn't see a need for a crossover between the loops. I could quite easily put one in, i've got no objection to it, I'm just not sure as to the neces...

Gasforth Central - Boards!

Evenin' all, So, I've been planning on getting off my backside and making myself a layout for some time now. And once I've got my stuff unpacked from moving in (a few months ago, if I'm honest), there will be a small area in an unused corner which I can finally claim for my own. The area in question...

Re: The Rothschild & Ashworth Downs - Minimum Space OO

Wow, this is really impressive design work. Agreed, very VERY good use of the graphics, particularly the wood and grass effect backgrounds, I wish I could get mine as professional-looking as that. You could always put in a couple of extra tracks on the lower level, as a small fiddle yard... It will ...
