Have done some more work on the scissors today whilst on study leave. the next exam is physics practical and that is all about accuracy so building pointwork is ideal revision it now has approach tracks and a DMU added, as well as the remaining point rails at one end - only 12 peices left (i think) ...

if possible can you put a piccy of the motors and switches (or a link to one on the net) and we should be able to help

wiring 5 points is no more difficult than wiring 1, you just do the same thing 5 times and theres more wires

The 1:87 people will be a bit smaller, but it shouldnt be too noticable. for instance, a 6ft tall person in HO would be 5ft 3in in OO so it shouldnt be too noticeable, especially at a distance only thing is you might need to stand them on a packing peice if they want to stand up and look out of a wi...

If you Re good with electronics then you could put a transistor between te chip and the motor with a battery attached but DON'T CONSIDER IT UNLESS YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING. other than that, you could re-gear it Also are the tires slipping on DCC and are the acceleration and top speed CVs set righ...

6 pin and 8 pin decoders are different in two main ways 8 pin will have more funtions - E.G. lights that you can wire into it as it hase two extra functions 6 pin is smaller and wont fit in an 8 pin socket (and vica versa) if your hardwiring, 6 pin is smaller, unless you want directional lighting an...
