Re: Class 47 diesel 47535 'University Of Leicester'

ah that could be a problem, my layout is all hornby set track, except the crossover, which i think could be peco. i might be buying one of ark royal's old class 50's instead but i'm not sure atm.

Thanks for the advice all.

Re: Class 47 diesel 47535 'University Of Leicester'

Hi guys, thanks for that,

You know it says "DCC Ready" does that mean they can still run under dc power?

or do you have to chip them and get dcc to run them?

(i'm very novice with all this dcc stuff)

Re: My layout. First ever attempt at modelling anything.

I like what you're doing with this layout, getting stuck in and the overall pictures are great, nice layout. i like the stock you have, my clubs 00 layout has odds ands that have been donated over the years, most recently a group of 47's and a 37 which will be going on the kids club layout when tha...

Re: My layout. First ever attempt at modelling anything.

[ so what if ark royal is one of the biggest 50 fans out, no need to take the mickey so much. they are just trains for god sake. its his choice, like its your choice to go for those robinson O4s (dan) and southern region stuff (tom). it is also stewards choice on what he gets. yes people can give i...

Class 47 diesel 47535 'University Of Leicester'

Hello there!

I'm thinking of buying a Class 47 diesel 47535 "University Of Leicester" from hattons with etched nameplates and working lights.

Does anyone know of any faults with this loco or anything i should know of before buying it?

Thanks, Stew.

Re: The NEW Wenchford Railway- GCR 8K No26 page 73

No it's not, it's on the Aberdovey line, so is between Dovey Jcn and Penhelig, the line to Borth doesn't have any major bridges apart from the one near Ynyslas, so I take it you must live in the hamlet of Glandyfi? Btw 76079 won't be there this year, it will be black 5 44871, but the same support c...

Re: NSE making a start

Its a very nice layout you've got there. i like the way you set up scenarios like "the owner of the car gets into confrontation with the traffic warden"
