Gauge 1 is certainly something that can't be done on a budget I think it could be if though out cleverley ;) Accucraft have said they will be making 4472 and a B4? Tank engine. NRM Confirmed they sealed the agrement for the 2 in america for 2 years just need to get the private uk ones

well if they start on donations now it should be ready by 2038 for its 100 anniversery as thats the only marker i think they would consider it for but like re all know its not in great shape

They brought it up i was more intrested in 4468 but they said its now in its policy that it wont be resteamed :x :(

but 4472 is virtually a brand new loco nothing on it is left from new. Even the frames were replacments. infact not even the name plates are original as they were not included in the sale. The appeal is the name its the most Famous loco an as such its a cash cow. Hence the massive investment its had...
