Your layout is getting better by the second! Nice work. Did you scratch build the track?

Re: Burniston Station by PeterH; New Deltic 'Nimbus' arrives p52

That happened to me, but a bit less serious. That's a pity as you haven't had it long, so I'd get in touch with Hornby.

Re: Windmill Hill Railway, a Preserved Railway: 10th anniversary

The bogie wheels look like early 1960s Hornby Princess, and there is a large weight in the tender. Re: Windmill Hill Railway, a Preserved Railway: 10th anniversary

Nope It has no drive from loco to tender. The chassis looks a bit like a Mainline Dean Goods and it has a Dapol coupling on the back, anyway some pics of it. http://a1.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc6/227111_123726297706498_100002073850692_175541_8195037_n.jpg http://a3.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hpho...

Also I got a Wrenn Brake end Pullman for a Pound, 44852 being £15 but Mum paid for that. Also Dad bought me a bag of wagons with a fish van (Triang), a continental flatbed (...

Re: Windmill Hill Railway, a Preserved Railway: 10th anniversary

Today I went to a car boot sale, and Yeovil Railway Centre. At the boot sale I bought a Matchbox S scale model of Stephenson's Rocket, for a tenner, which I believe is a limited edition. Also I brought a Bachmann BR Standard Brake Van. I have also finished track work to Hatch Junction, but I still n...
