Hi At long Last I have some track down and connected to the bus wire. It works! My largest loco passed over my peco electrofrog (unmodified) with the greatest of ease. Thanks to all the members who gave advice I hasten to add! As this part of the layout runs under the perlins I have decided to make ...

bachmann 32-729

It will not respond to my Bachmann dynamis. It is set to address 3. As soon as it touches the track all the lights come on, front and rear, ...

Re: My layout, Arnos vale, in the loft

Hi all, My layout is starting to take shape at last and now that I have mastered the art of soldering ,thanks to good advice from forum members, I have spent a few very productive hours fixing dropper wires to flexi track. I have had to abandon the loft for a few days due to the gale force winds blo...

nce power cab

Hi all, Maybe it is just me but I can't find any info in the nce manual to access sound functions above 9. How do you go up a level? It is easy on my Dynamis. Sorry for being dim. As regards the NCE itself I love it. I bought it so I could read values etc and it does that very simply. It is only the...

My layout, Arnos vale, in the loft

Hi, At last I have my loft space sorted and have built the baseboards and run round. I have found a track plan for Warwick which may just suit my purposes with a bit of alteration. I have a Bachmann 4 road shed and a modern servicing depot to fit in and also a hornby coaling tower which I bought che...

Re: hornby rollingroad

I am planning to convert them eventually or have them done for me. By the way Flashbang I have just sent you a query on modelrailforum about...

hornby rollingroad

Hi I have just taken delivery of a Hornby rolling road (R8211) which has been on back order for 18 months!! I notice on the box that it states it is for use with a (Hornby) 12v DC system. Ist I take it that it will work with any DC controller? Will it work with DCC? My other rolling road which I had...
