Welcome!

Soldering is the best fun ever - you can't beat the smell of boiling metal!

Go for it :)

Yes!

I liked the Euston Parcels layout andf will probably use that with some more sidings.

Cheers

Wanted: 8' x 4' continuous running plan...

For the forseable future all I can fit is a temporay 8' x 4' layout. Ideally I'd like it continuous running. Has anyone got a good plan for this size with lots of sidings etc?

Much appreciated.

I hadn’t noticed it, but it is a shame, any idea why it has warped?

Was the roof cardboard, did the paint soak it right through?

That might cause it to warp when fully dry. :?:

Cheers for the replies.
I had thought of using a grey base coat first - so I'll definitely do that. I also like the idea of thins coats too.

What's the best paint/method for airbrushing silver...

Probably a simple answer but anyway...

I'm planning on repainting a model entirely silver (Deltic - EWS managers livery)

What's the best way of doing this - I'm guessing airbrush but is the choice of paint important?

Re: Pathe Tic!

rofl!

"If the authorities play ball" my arse!! Not that the line they were using looked as if it had been out of service for 1000 years! lol

Imagine a 100's of "civilians" zooming up and down the lines with not an iota of signal knowlesge between them. lol

Good vid though :)

Re: Starlingford - pics & better health, pg 81!

I'm interested in the boat that appears to be under construction in the above pic's. Is that a kit or scratch building?

It looks llike it'll be good either way :)
