Re: Dapol WSMR Mk3 Buffet?
But as it's a twin pack of both "missing" WSMR coaches, that's not a bad price?

Re: Removing polystyrene cement marks
Thanks, guys, I'll try your suggestions, I have some spare bits to experiment with. It's just a few finger marks, but spoils the appearance - it's a 'glass' roof. I guess I could call it weathering.

Removing polystyrene cement marks
Is there any way to remove polystyrene cement marks (I'm clumsy, even using a 'needle' type applicator) from the clear parts of plastic models? I guess not, since I believe it's actually a solvent rather than an adhesive. Perhaps I could polish the marks out...

I'm using them - the 3% ones - and I think they're brilliant. I could have done it much cheaper myself, yes, but to me it was well worth the cost.

Re: Tiny N gauge layout - 800x600mm
I think you're trying to do too much (by having a second level) in a small space. Your current plan just about has long enough gradients to get a second level, but you're right on the limits, and your gradients have tight curves and points on them, which is just making things worse. In my opinion. S...

Re: Tiny N gauge layout - 800x600mm
But you only have about 100mm of gradient before the tracks have to cross. The best change in height that you could hope for over that distance would be 3 or 4 mm on each track, so only 6 or 7 mm in total.

Re: ESU Ecos 50200
I'm really happy with mine so far, I have no regrets at all with buying it. But note:
1. I have no experience at all of any other DCC system
2. My layout is still under construction, so I haven't really got into any serious use yet.

I have the same problem, particularly as my plan is on three levels. I used a track planner with a 3D view option, and found it a great help.

You can get a DZ125IN, which is a pretty good decoder, from Bromsgrove Models for £18.40.
