Re: Bachmann 2010 Products???

id like to see a dbso So would I! Not that I would buy one...but to produce them they'd also have to make a suitable range of air-con Mk2 coaches  For the uninitiated, a DBSO is a Mk2F Brake Second Open that has been converted for push pull operation and fitted with a driving cab at the brake...

Bachmann have annouced a Class 47 model representing Class 47 975 as allocated to the British Rail Departmental and the Civil Engineers 'Dutch' livery and named 'The Institution of Civil Engineers'. It looks like a brilliant model. Bachmann now need to bring some more wagons in the Civil Engineers l...

Problems with Bachmann 'Tornado'

Hi there, i recently brought a Bachmann model of the A1 peppercorn Pacific 'Tornado'. I had done all the usual things that you have to do with a new model, this included the running period with part of this done on my layout and on my model rail club's test track, where it all worked fine. Then 2 da...

Bachmann 2010 Products???

Having had a week now to take in Hornby's 2010 announcements, I thought i better start the discussion of what Bachmann's 2010 pridcuts will be. Obviously they have already said they will be doing the class 70, but after the surpising announcements by hornby anything could happen. I hope they will be...

Re: Hornby 2010 Product information

[quote="Bigmet"]You have to believe that they will do another 4-4-0, and the most likely has to be the Midland / LMS 4P compound. Although I would much prefer an all new Fowler 4F as the new Midland model, the compound is very pretty and Hornby's detail and livery application will make the...

Re: Tornado is out

But if I buy this one, then I have to sell the original boxed edition in BR livery - there's only one Tornado... You could keep hold of that one because the A1 Steam Locomotive Trust said, when they decided on its first livery, that 'Torndo' would run in all the liveries that A1's carried in their ...
