Re: Trouble with Bachmann E-Z track points

I had a look at bachmann site and shows e-z points as DCC which if that is the type you have then that is what 's causing the problem. If the are these types of points then t the will be live no matter what way they are set due to them being DCC as it is the trains that you control and not power to ...

Re: Trouble with Bachmann E-Z track points

Wonder could the fault be in there somewhere causing the
power to make both sides live.
Can you see the mechanism that works the points from underneath

Re: are we killing model railways future ourselves ??

Gone are the days of making a gun from the wooden dolly pegs like you used to or mobile phones from string and tin cans. Then again maybe it will all come round again much like fashion to see the fac...

Why not do what bigmet suggested but at the end of the wire
form a small loop that might engage the small lug.

Re: Recommend Paper/Card Weights

I am not to sure of card thickness but 2mm should help stop the card/greyboard
from warping when sticking the printed sheet on.
Regarding the trackmat if you are not going to keep it could you not just cut round track.

Re: Layout feedback please

Interesting looking layout a few thoughts on looking couldyou connect
turntable to passing loop on left side to allow train to run anti-clockwise.
I know you could run into station then change loco around to go in this direction.
