The majority of the bits came from a Class 60, except the skirt which was from the Bachmann model of 66411

It's only the cab ends, was an experiment to reflect the heat from the cab I believe, there is a DBS 66 with the same detail (66177).

It was at least two years ago...

I have just purchased the Hornby Class 92 in Stobart.... Apart from the lack of fine detail quite a nice model... Have added a bit of detail to the front and here she is.... :) Had to fit a Lenz decoder to get it to slow start without juddering and making a lot of noise but then I have had the same ...

Interestingly, although driven by German and Japanese owners the BMW plant at Oxford and the Nissan plant in Sunderland in terms of quality and production output is at the highest level in the automotive industry worldwide.

The two new Class 66's are both set at £86.45 to £86.99 everywhere !!!!

Can't answer your original question but have you not considered the new Dapol one's with the built in motors... ya but you have to consider the difference in cost between the new Dapol motorized semaphores and the hornby (simap+motor). Thats probably the main argument the cost, however the Dapol on...

Is there a way of disabling the tail lights on the original locos that came with Night & Day settings and were eventually replaced by the ON/OFF switch..
