It's ok if you only want to pull a couple of spine wagons not a full train

Re: Hornby 86 637 anyone ?

Personally I would shell out the extra and buy the Heljan model, unless you can pick up a really cheap Hornby one and maybe double motor it, although not perfect see the thread:- http://www.newrailwaymodellers.co.uk/Forums/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=18943&start=75 I think it's a good representatio...

Damn no edit function....

I meant to qualify that the statement 'unbelievable' was aimed at Hornby not seeing an issue with the faults portrayed in the RE report...

Re: Hornby Class 67

Yes, that statement is unbelievable. I'm a little unclear as to what statement, was unbelievable. People pay big money for Wrenn models still. Great runners built to last and made in Britain. Pay peanuts, get monkeys the same is true of consumer goods. I work in the automotive industry and understa...

Re: Network Rail Timetables

Interesting you say that, at Tamworth Friday we had about a 95% on time, the 10% loss was due to passengers trains crossing back to the slow line south of Tamworth... There were only two late Freightliners late morning on the low level..... The GB's and F/L's on the WCML seem to run very close to ti...

Network Rail Timetables

I have seen print outs of complete timetables including Freight trains apparently off the Network Rail website.

I have looked and I have found timetables but they only seem to show passenger workings.

Anyone know where to find them ?

Re: Hornby Class 67

Time to bring the production back to the UK? I know where you're coming from, but wasn't it Margate who said along the lines of 'can't see what the problem is' to RE? Yes, that statement is unbelievable. He'd be the first person to moan if they received that standard of quality after forking out £1...

Hornby Class 67

Anybody bought either of the first three... I have the W & S which looks really nice and is really heavy, some minor faults as reported elsewhere, only disappointment with Hornby is you still can't turn the tail lights off... Any thoughts...... http://i95.photobucket.com/albums/l133/martin_l_jon...

For DCC operation don't you need to rewire the lighting units ?.
