Re: Bachmann class 66. Different versions?

I've had a quick look at my photo's on you tube of my 66's and it appears as tho' 66209 has white possibly oplastic handrails. I will look tonight, however all the others appear to be wire. The maybe white painted wire handrails. The livery differences are obvious however the front panels below the ...

Re: Class 47 Northern Belle

It's a real worry to have to pay £60 for this item, it looks dated, probably a poor runner in terms of haulage and the body and shell mouldings look tired and dated.. Bachmann 47's have been going for the same price discounted, admittedly not this livery if it's what you are after. However a decent ...

Re: Problem with 36-557 decoder

I have had the same problem with this decoder. It refuses to be reporgrammed using a Bachmann Dynamis or a Hornby Select ( I have both ). I originally put it in a brand new class 350 desiro unit, it worked on default No 3 but refused to accept any of the CV adjustments for accelleration deceleratio...

Cheers for the replies guys, good to know :)

Is it printed on or is it a nameplate plate ?

I don't believe Hornby actually made it like this ?

Re: 91003 Scottish Enterprise

Looking on wikipedia and the Class 91 listings, 91003 carried the names "County of Lincolnshire" and "The Scotsman". There are photo's on flickr but not with it carrying the nameplate you have on your model. Have a look here... http://www.hornbyguide.com/class_details.asp?classid...

Re: Model & Hobby Show

I did go as a Collector's Club member and as I said I was dissapointed, if I'd have travelled far as a Trader then I would have been really dissapointed as there was not a lot to see.

Re: Colas Rail Freight Class 66

Driver end, means driver end, Bachmann fit a driver to their loco's..

The only 66's with a Buckeye coupler are DB/EWS, the others all have traditional screw link couplings.

Sorry what do you mean changing it is called modelling.

Colas Rail Freight Class 66

I have just taken delivery of my Cola Rail 66 and noticed it has a Buckeye Coupler fitted on the driver end, having looked at the prototype this is incorrect. This has happened on the last two Class 66 releases, the GBRf Europort 66 being incorrectly fitted with one as well.... Anybody got a spare h...

Re: Model & Hobby Show

I was also really disappointed with the Hobby Show but bought the C1 even tho' it's not my cup of tea. Had a good chat with one of the Bachmann guys about the lack of an upgraded Class 59 and why have Bachmann skirted around it with all the other classes. GB Class 20 looked good. However the museum ...
