Re: Ollerton 'N' 5'2"x3' Split Board
Has it really been 5 months? Blimey! Not a great deal has happened since. I have finished track laying,it is all wired, and it works! Next job on the track front is point motors. On the scenic side, I have painted the backscene, and started to install the tunnel and village area. Perhaps I...

Wow, this layout has come on so much. I think you have done a gret job with that station extension.
And that 101....
I can't wait for mine next week!

Alas, no. This layout was dismantled 6 months ago. I'm currently working on/off on my new one, Ollerton.

Re: Litchfield - N Gauge Layout
Interesting plan with a lot of room to play with I see. Are you sure though that you only want one crossover between the green and the red lines?
I look forward to watching this develop.

Re: 2012 n gauge wish list
I'd quite like the 105 DMU to be shrunk in the wash.
Plus some new tooled Mk1s and Mk2s in Regional Railways liveries.
Pretty please Bachmann..............

Thanks for looking Nathan.
Hopefully it won't be too long before I have more than just track on boards to look at!

I have to admit I love this type of layout and yours looks very well executed. I have had a lot of fun previosuly with setrack layouts like this.

Re: Ollerton 'N' 5'2"x3' Split Board
Another weekend, and more progress! I started laying the fiddle yard at the back end of last week after I had wired the front of the layout. I also laid the run round loop for the TMD. Plus I started building a control panel... Some pics: http://i224.photobucket.com/albums/dd289/tucker_ccf/Ollerton%...

Re: Ollerton 'N' 5'2"x3' Split Board
Thanks for the comments. I'm glad there seems to be a consensus that there is plenty to do without crowding the layout 'out'. Sorry Auricom I missed your question from the other day. Yes there will be a tunnel at that end which I hope to place a village (or part of) on top of. I spent the weekend la...

I love the station, it is some inspired scratchbuilding, using pencils like that.
I'm struck by how well you seem to achieve this 80's mix of first and second generation DMUs and loco hauled stock.

Ollerton 'N' 5'2"x3' Split Board
Well, I have taken the plunge! Some of you may have seen my old layout, Bolsover N, which, after roughly two and a half years, I have called time on. It was fun whilst it lasted, but those 9 Inch curves and running problems have finally put paid to it. This is its replacement. Space constraints havn...
