Re: Ollerton 'N' 5'2"x3' Split Board
Well, I had a weekend of modelling for once! :P First up I completed the footbridge that will go from the island platform to the station entrance: http://i224.photobucket.com/albums/dd289/tucker_ccf/06JAN12A.jpg I started off with the built bridge, finished in light grey from humbrol. However having...

Re: Penzance themed modular layout in N gauge
This s a cracking layout. I really like the street scene in your last post, especially where you have managed to put in patches of new tarmac, and blended the whole lot in with weathering. It looks like it could just be the real thing.

Re: Ollerton 'N' 5'2"x3' Split Board
Following my last post, despite what I said previously, the photo in the last post with the 101 in just shows up the platform height problem too much. So I went back and ripped the lot up and started again, see photos below: http://i224.photobucket.com/albums/dd289/tucker_ccf/Ollerton%20N/Platform.j...

Re: BR Blue Terminus Layout
Blimey, another one i've seemed to have missed so far.
What a cracker, what I would give for the space. I read the first post and wasn't sure it was N Gauge at first glance its that good!

Wow...didn't spot this before!
Impressive set up you have there, particularly your street scene.

Re: Ollerton 'N' 5'2"x3' Split Board
Happy New Year! :D It has been a busy day or two on the layout. Firstly my mainline now has point motors, I used Seep PM1s and and a Gaugemaster CDU. Also it now has working colour light signals, and looks so much more like a real railway, rather than some baseboards with track glued to it! http://i...

Either that or the original molds are shot. They aren't necessarily re-tooling it for our benefit!

Re: Ollerton 'N' 5'2"x3' Split Board
I hope everybody had a merry christmas! Well, the pictures show how things stand at the end of boxing day, the bottom picture shows a new bridge awaiting cladding, and the others show my in progress station. When playing trains earlier, I had thought that I had made the platforms too high (!) as the...

Re: N gauge 2012 wish list.
Personally as somebody who isn't interested in DCC, i'd rather they came up with entirely new models, or sticking to remakes where really required (Class 20 and 25 for example), rather than wasting money on models that are fundamentally right but lack certain features. Ultimately however I suppose i...

I know exactly how you feel about basing something around the same location everytime-my last three layouts (before this one) were all based on the same area. Good luck with your new one!

My local model shop. If you go to Bachmann's site those that have arrived are listed as arrived. Hattons aren't always the first to get everything!
