Great video! Looked really lifelike! I can't wait to get more of the secenery finished and add the backscene. Will start to look really real! Nor can I wait to get the last bits of track laid, install DCC, and then just sit back and enjoy the view down the cutting as four trains fly along... :D The...

After reconnecting some track and then cleaning the outer loop of track (the amount of dirt was incredible...) I let my Class 67 loose. In the video below the 67 never runs at more than 75% power - which I think you'll agree means that the motor isn't bad given the speed it manages and the stuff it ...

Coming along very nicely!! Should be exciting to see it develop. You've got some good stock too. I must have not bothered reading the instructions for my inspection pit - I think I shall do as you have done, and thread continuous rails into the pits for improved conductivity... EDIT: Putting sleeper...

Have virtually finished the hillside now. Am looking forward to getting it all painted, 'scattered' and scenic-ified. The plan is to have a footpath running across the hill, with some stiles, along with some fields - and obligatory farm gates. It will also be nice to get the road finished. Am hoping...

Nice work there mate, especially love the last photo, will look even better when the layout is finished! Can't wait to get a photo with some trains coming and going down the lines, with their lights on at night. Will look really cool (hopefully!). One other thing, I've got myself some webcams comin...

Spent some more time on the railway with some good results. Things are slowly coming together. Sadly I ran out of mod-roc and some other supplies - so thank goodness for tomorrow being a Saturday (and not a Sunday or bank hol!). And, at long last, a start has been made on the retaining wall at the m...

For a while I thought this layout must have been N gauge (it isn't though, right?) - to fit so much into the space you have without it looking overcrowded/wrong... But as far as I can tell it's OO? Anyway, (whether it's OO or N!!) you've got a great layout. Only problem is that it's so good it makes...

Got some more done today. Anyone got any recommended sources for photographic backscenes?
