Re: New N Layout - London area depot/station

It appears I can't get hold of Finescale ST-15 and 18 curves, that would mean laying more by hand.. great!

New N Layout - London area depot/station

Decided against OO in the end, instead deciding on ripping up my current layout and switching to Code 55. I have this (after 3 hours of changes). http://img846.imageshack.us/img846/8170/newn55finescale.jpg My eyes are sore from all the planning and bending of flexi but I think its ok. What is there ...

Re: From N to OO - London Station

I have 5.6ft by 2.2ft and that's my lot! What I might be able to do is get hold of a couple of shelves and have a sort of cassette box system that I can store underneath which would allow DMUs to make an appearance but not a lot of movement! Another thing to consider. N still looks attractive when i...

From N to OO - London Station

I've been modelling in N for a few years now but I've never been able to detail it as much as I would like due to being so ham fisted, so I have decided I will look at OO plans. Now in my space it will be tough but I have a plan in mind. http://img189.imageshack.us/img189/4816/oostation.jpg I want t...

Top one is very nice, but the last one is a lot more interesting.

Re: Paxton Hill Mid 80's N Gauge

Back to the hobby slowly, and I am thinking of trading up to OO gauge. I have bought a loco so I can check out the size differences. I struggle with the size of N to be honest. I am only 20 but I don't have the steadiest hand, and working in a larger scale would allow a lot more detail to be added. ...

Re: Paxton Hill Mid 80's N Gauge

Thanks Mark.

I was thinking about adding a 3rd rail but I don't know if it would work that well considering I already have most of my scenery in place.

I wonder how much difference it would make for me? At the moment I clean my track with a cotton bud and some white spirit...

Would a proper kit be worth the money?

Re: road markings/bus tram lane markings

I cut out the scalescenes ones and glued down on my painted road, super results. Duncan... BIG DUNC I did the same, and as long as you cut straight they look good. I also printed loads of the double yellow lines and glued them on where I needed them. The worn look that they have is far better than ...

Re: Paxton Hill Mid 80's N Gauge

Probably about time to tidy up the layout and do some work on it! Times been taken up with possibly moving to spain to study to become an airline pilot, but I failed one of the tests so i'm still home for another 9 months while I take a college course in maths, so gives me some more time to work on ...

Well, I'm going to the post office in 5 minutes and will say goodbye to the wagons and send them on their journey to Shropshire.

And here they are! Not really worth waiting months for but what the hey... After a spin on the layout: (would have been longer but its a complete tip at the moment) http://i678.photobucket.com/albums/vv144/briantwigley/IMG_0564.jpg And a spotter catches them on the way to the next layout: http://i67...

Re: Olympic Tour-N gauge version. Now On Tour!

Guys,

I'm not dead but due to one thing and another (lack of internet for one) I haven't managed to get on and post my photos.

I haven't stolen the wagons! Photos will be up shortly, and they will be off to their next layout!
