If I were to buy the 37 it would be the one liveried in coal sector, at the moment, I'm steering towards a class 24 in either Br green with yellow ends or the Br blue liveried loco, and I'd run stock that coincides with that era. Re: NSE livery (why dislike?)

47's aren't really my thing, I do like them, but I prefer Sulzer type 2's :D

Re: Your first train ride you can remeber

When I was about 5, so 10 years ago, my Grandad took me from Derby to Birmingham and back on an HST in Virgin livery, I remember the livery, because I got the hornby version of the locomotive the following christmas :)

Re: [To be named] 38"x2' N Gauge Layout (Pics now up!)

Track was laid and wired up today! I also bought a few different colours scatters to take away the fake look of my tunnel.

I'll finish up what I'm doing and I'll get pictures up tomorrow.

Thanks

Fantastic layout, it looks excellent! :D

Re: New south green. 8x4 oo gauge.

I like the sidings layout, it gives the operator chance to pull into the main siding, and then back shunt so that the loco remains at the right end at all time.
