Re: Paxton Hill Mid 80's N Gauge

Hi Ryan

Layout is looking great and love those 37's...... I see Mercig has updated his website showing your loco with a bogie mod to reduce the body gap.... do you know how he did it, has he lowered the body or raised the bogies as it makes a huge difference IMHO.

Re: Very Simple Question about Graham Farish Sets....

Hi Grahame was referring to the drive shaft/armature and not the gears on the wheels. It is probably a good idea just to take some time to just take the loco apart and familiarise yourself with it. The split chassis design is fairly simple but you do need to be careful when pushing the bogie towers ...

A retooled Deltic from Farish...the DP1 is sensational and if they can do a similar level of detail on the production Deltic then I would be a happy man.

John at Precision Labels will do you a custom set if you ask but the letters are so small that you really will not be able to see the letters.

Re: Warley 2010

What really gets me was all the "hype", with the manufacturers claiming several N gauge releases will be made at Warley instead of the N Gauge Show This is now ridiculous when the N Gauge Show is so well advertised and regular now Could you post links to where you read that. To my knowled...

Re: 'N' GAUGE SOCIETY

I would encourage anyone who models in N Gauge to join the society. Particularly if you are starting out as the initial handbook that you get is a fantastic aid to beginning in N. I would however agree that there are areas that could be improved greatly but I do understand that this is a voluntary o...

I miss her so much.

Those words really touched me and made me realise that sometimes I take my partner for granted without thinking what life would be like without her by my side.

So sorry for your loss and I hope you can get through these difficult times.

All the best for the future

Re: Warley 2010

Having talked to a couple of trade stand holders at INGS they were saying that Warley would cost close to a grand to attend if you include hotels petrol etc so not surprising that so few specialist N Gauge suppliers are attending particularly the likes of CJM, Mercig and Millifields who basically se...

Shouldn't really have to say it as I think it is pretty common knowledge but T4U is a great shop in a wonderful space with excellent service and stock. Re: The ultimate British N Gauge model?

The loco stood up very well against the ambient noise level of the show although you perhaps would not have noticed it if you were just randomly passing the stand.... it was however very loud and on a layout, with no background noise, would be great. The price is more than competitive when you consi...
