Re: Diesels at Crown Point and Sovereign St.

Glad you like the picture Ex-Pat. Hopefully the grandchildren will be allowed in our house, then they can 'take over' the running of trains. Meanwhile, a few more pictures. The end of the line at Clarence Dock. IMG_5319.JPG When I ran my Class 52 locomotives it was always to Rule 1. Two weeks ago I ...

Soon I shall be able to be assisting my young operators. They have been missed for over a year. Some scenes at Clarence Dock Katie is on the passenger train. Harwood is shunting wagons. Re: Diesels at Crown Point and Sovereign St.

The Clarence Dock section of the layout has always been run with steam engines. The past couple of days I tried running diesel locomotives. The first run with Class 25 25237. IMG_5296.JPG IMG_5298.JPG Then Class 27 27037 decided to join in. IMG_5300.JPG IMG_5301.JPG The little platform is from an ol...

Re: A Set-Track shunting loop Project

The idea sounds good.

Ah! I see the problem. There are no images I can see.

Then as if by magic they can be seen.

Looking good. Love to see the scenery on it.

Re: Hello from America

Welcome on board, SM.
As SRman says OO and HO use the same track gauge.
Over in the U.S.A. you can get Peco track (as well as American makes).

A misty, almost rainy day as Class 25 25218 on the Leeds Central to York local waits at the signal.

And near the junction. Is the mist clearing?

The same train near Canal Corner. A shaft of sunlight?

Re: advice required

Just a thought --------------- Looking at your trackplan. It looks complicated (to me). You say you cannot stand up most of the time. Are you the only operator? Is it easy to operate; especially being on your knees? When things go wrong are they easy to correct, or mainly difficult? Perhaps where it...

Here they are on their first trip around the layout on Lomac vehicles, Class 47 47404 Hadrian in charge. IMG_5264.JPG A simple ...
