Re: HS II - The Kadee Experiments

For close on a Month all I've been doing is trying to rebuild all my threads with photographs to replace the damage done by those inconsiderate robbers Photobucket. Well time for an eye straining rest....... Here we have my paraffin can, a box of matches sitting on the drainage pipe with a newspaper...

Re: A universal miniture '00' roundy-roundy

While size of diameter is not overly critical it becomes compounded by adding overall height through a dropped segment. The question is how deep to get either a culvert, or even road running under the track. That needs to be added to the back-scene height which in my opinion needs to be at least 5&q...

A universal miniture '00' roundy-roundy

This has been at the back of my mind for several years. Dave with his fourways and Beynac with his green bump, or BRRR are exploring the limits, but I was thinking of a universal circle that will run virtually every commercially available locomotive. Several reasons, one I'm running out of space and...

Re: Airfix set

Coo that's expensive ....in comparison to making up as kits from 'You know who'. I made up 3 at the pricely sum of £26.50, see my workshop build https://www.newrailwaymodellers.co.uk/Forums/viewtopic.php?f=49&t=46675&start=615#p634121 I did 'blow' more cash by replacing the plastic wheelsets...

Re: Dad-1 - Workbench - West Bay Wagon Works

When you see the explosion of language coming with the 2017 '00' Tour wagon you'll realize that was a real wish on mine !! Having currently replaced in excess of 700 pictures since the black day I'm beginning to struggle. Still upto and including page 22 of this thread rebuilt. When I see the rate a...

Re: NRM 2017 00 'Tour' STARTED

My intention was to build up the 'Tour' photographs in this thread.
Takes less room in the listings ..... working with Win 3.1.1 you
HAD to minimize as much as possible !! It becomes a habit.

carnehan, 'Daddy will love it' ...... are you certain he didn't read it ? RailwayRobbo, The running order is as shown in Dave's posting towards the bottom of page 1. I shall be keeping an eye on it, usually most are sending onwards after a week to 10 days. Apart from Bufferstop loosing 'Norma' perma...

Re: NRM 2017 00 'Tour' STARTED

First to carnehan,

Sorry for the language, better just to think of the number code so
no profanity is verbalized. I thought it was clever ..... but then I'm
mad as well as angry.

Glancairn

On the list now standing at 10.

Tell that lazy tyke on the right of that second picture to NOT LEAN ON THE LAYOUT !! Stand up straight ...... Sorry, but I have this 'thing' about not placing anything on layouts other than stock and buildings. The last people who 'touched' things on my layouts were all adults, how can they expect c...

Dave,

Just keep doing what you do so well ....... New ideas, new materials
all put together with a nice dollop of grime. What ? Even snow !!
More memorable cameos than you may think.

Re: St.Oval - A scenic Set Track Oval

A video of my 4 latest kit/repaint wagons and 3 coaches. As it's running on St Oval that's where I've loaded it,
rather than in the workbench thread.
One day I must try to do more work on this much used oval.

Re: Dad-1 - Workbench - West Bay Wagon Works

Considering that I'm struggling to rebuild loads of my threads I have done a surprising amount of wagon building. Those 3 Dapol unpainted ventilated BR vans are finished all except weathering, I have so many to weather, some time ? I used spare numbers from the Dapol ventilated meat van kit decal sh...
