Re: Ninian Junction - And so it is finished, see last post.

Re: Ninian Junction - The End

Well guys, it's almost been a year since my last update and I'm afraid i've got sad news. Due to upcoming exams, lack of money and lack of time I am having to put the railway into storage, and so this marks the end of Ninian Junction and what it was. (By the way, if anyone is interested in purchasin...

Re: Castle Cross- And a bit more P19

Some time next week I shall also be taking delivery of a Skaledale Platform Signal Box and a Skaledale Waiting Shelter (both slightly modified) for the hefty price of £10 :) Lol, loving it! :-) Layout looks great man, Lovin the Sir Nigel Greasley A4, so detailed when I saw it in shop a few years ago!

Re: The Strogaloft - Construction Begins... Again!

And, the Fokker is indeed an Airfix, after closing the shop, I had a load of Airfix to get rid of, but I kept this one as I fancied having a crack at an aircraft, and thought this was a rather attractive one. My father used to fly the Fokker for British Midland (or bmi as it is now!) back years ago...

Re: Hattons Website

They have an 'XHTML 1.1 compliant' button on their front page. Clicking on it to validate the page gives 25 errors... Steve As a website designer I believe these errors are due to the Hattons website being coded to the HTML5 syntax, as such certain attributes which will be thrown up as invalid on X...

I like it how you just show us sections of the layout instead of an overall shot, makes it look beautiful.

Re: Ninian Junction

Hoping to get back on this project. Needs dusting off (amazing how quickly items become dust) and get back to work!

Expect an update within a month, off on holiday for 2 weeks on Saturday and my birthday on Friday.

Re: Ninian Junction

That hill looks great Stephen, I agree with Ryan, the contours and folds of the slope look really natural really reminds me of the Chiltern Ridgeway hills. Nice improvisation with the paint so the pink area, is that going to be a little commune for drag queens?? :D Nice ballasting too, did you mana...
