I can't see why Peco didn't take the opportunity of producing correctly spaced and width sleepers for code 75. Correct in what scale? It's 00 - the gauge is always gonna be to 3.5mm scale... you can't change it (well, if you do then you're going EM or P4 and everything that entails). The Locos etc....

And before you say 'well, Bachmann have done just that to OT/Heljan', I would point you towards 'another forum' whos moderators were privvy to evidence that Bachmann were working on this project before the OT announcement and have been pushed into an early announcement by Hornby piddling about with...

I'd think there will be a market for both the Hornby and Bachmann versions (and it would seem they both agree). £300 for the Bachmann six-car set doesn't seem a lot to me (I mean comparatively, not like I can afford one right now!) If Hornby were to revamp the old Triang one then it'd be just like buses - you wait forever then three come at once!

Yeah... well, it was a Deltic, but I'm turning it into DP2 The loco was based on a 'Deltic' body shell, but the guts were an uprated version of the class 40 power unit, which went on to power the class 50s.
