Re: Since when does 15v mean 20v??

is the 15V AC or DC if multimeter is 1 and supply is other then you'll get dodgy reading
look up "root mean squared" (rms) of and AC wave to see what i mean

beginners coach kits

hi

I need a couple of coach kits to put in a carridge shed at the back of my layout.
will only be visible through windows and doesnt mattter if they dont runwell so thought i could try a first rolling stock kit

as i sed, appearence doesnt matter - cheapness is the most importand thing

thanks

It's a pity really-the body stands up fine to recent Baccy tanks, but that chassis...

Re: Lima 94xx

Thanks everyone for the advice, greatly appreciated. Unfortunately, on my current (schoolboy) budget I can't really justify the expense of a complete bachmann chassis, despite the very nice slow running (If I could, I'd be replacing my Tri-ang 57xx first  ), so for the moment I'll just clean i...

Re: Pedestrian Crossing

You probably want a monostable 555 circuit with the input connected to the button and the output, as well as cancelling the red light, going into either a much higher frequency 555 astable connected to an LED. Actually, there's a bit where it's solid green before it starts to flash, so you could use...
