Re: Slightly

Leave the grass between the rails. You often see well more than often nowadays weeds and other plant life emerging from between the sleepers. It just adds another touch of realism to the model. Yards tended to have the odd weed poking through anyway.

Re: Loughborough Great Central Railway

Stanier 2 6 4s weren't that common south of the border in the mid 60s. Fairburns were more common on the GC anyway, But modelers license will let you have many things! If you want you could have the new Hornby T9 since 120 made it to Woodfood Halse. Both models are very good I have two fariburns run...

Re: Time to Tear It Up & Start Again ! New Steam Layout Pla

Being very very pedantic.... The photo of the Golden Arrow Bulleid should only have two discs over the buffers without one on the centre bracket.

Sorry about being so fiddly!!

Re: 34067 Tangmere near Kirkham Priory

Its a good shot but cutting to top off the signal, and having th base obscured by the front of the engine just takes something away from it.

Certainly looks a nice layout, any chance of seeing at so...

Could do with the snow ploughs removing and the Cabside numbers scaling down.
They still look better in BR green without the yellow warning panel than any other livery!
