The flat part of the roof was made from plasticard the hard bit was bending some clear acrylic to form the roof windows. The train testing website has plenty of usefull reference pics.

Hi I scratchbuilt lab 6 using a mainline mk1 brake and hornby mk3 bogies. Yeh I just recently picked up a pair of lima hst power cars for £15 at a local model show. I also have half of the prototype hst that I use as push pull stock. Gives the riviot counters something to moan about !!
Looking forward to letting my APT stretch its legs.

My N gauge trumptonshire layout is no more. Now that it and Heatherburn are out of the way tonight I got to visulise the railway rooms available space. Latest evloution of the plan. The red sections are the top level with the terminus and loco shed.

The flyover will be recyled from Trent valley. Got to add the lower storage sidings yet and the return loop.

Potters and Trent valley still have one more show to do in a couple of weeks time. It will be a while before I dismantle these two as I want to get the garage sorted properly this time before I fill it with railway again.
