Re: And the next photo will have...(real railway version)

Given that this is for real railways it'd have to be a bloody big room!!!!

Anyway - here's 8 - 66187 66054 66176 66213 66046 66037 66144 & 66086

And for the next photo, 6 locos of different classes...

Re: Old Oak Common Hydraulic Heydays.

Good to see some new pics but bad news on the Dapol front. I hope the N gauge versions are better but have had a few light failures on Dapol's N gauge locos, usually due to a broken wire.

A crappy video-grab, but Intercity 37518 hauling 70000 Britannia & Black 5 45407 with accompanying support coaches. http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8246/8552086209_c0603e039d_o_d.jpg ( Video ) On the subject of 56s - 56105 is the next to be outshopped in Colas livery - currently undergoing repairs...

Re: Weird Stuff On The railways. What Have You Seen?

Quite the opposite fortunately. Colas & DCR are reviving several 56s. Colas are looking at putting them onto the Chirk timbers permanently and they're regularly seen on the Boston steel.

Re: Hood-dale Main - Back from exile!!

Jas that wall looks totally awesome! Great work on the moulds. The white patches might not necessarily be a bad thing as they could represent lichens growing on the surface. Chris, how you coping without your layout? Any thoughts on the replacement yet? The plans are now in place and Dad donated a f...

Hey Jas - great to see you finally making some progress! Love the work you've done so far especially the retaining walls. They've come out really well.

Re: Old Oak Common Hydraulic Heydays.

Hi Richard
Been ages since I last posted on here. Hope you and Tracey are ok. It's been far too long since we last met up but things haven't been too great lately with health and Claire's job. We will have to catch up soon though.

Good to see Old Oak is still about.

Re: Old Warren TMD - The Final Curtain

Thanks for all the positive comments on this layout. It's been a bit surreal that it has attracted so much interest being my first layout, and essentially a test-bed. I cannot promise mk2 will be quite as quick in development as I am working full time now. One final pic of Old Warren - all loaded up...

Ditto the last comment. Very good set of latest photos. The new washing plant looks a very nice model.

Re: Old Warren TMD - The Final Curtain

Very good and fitting - might have to "borrow" that soundtrack for a slideshow!! Well this is it - the layout goes this morning, so these will be my last ever photos of Old Warren :( 66072 and 66250 are prepped for their final departure in the shed, 37425 transfers the last of the wagons, ...

Re: Old Warren TMD - The Final Curtain

Yh but we're only just round the corner from each other! :P And not forgetting our exhibition layout soon! With that and helping out on other layouts will I get to build another of my own??? A quick update on Old Warren - the deposit has been left, price agreed and the layout will be gone eit...

Re: Old Warren TMD - The Final Curtain

Right - It's been a while since this was updated - and this is likely to be the last update. Old Warren is shortly to have a new owner who is coming down to see the layout in a couple of weeks after our holiday. I don't know if he will take it back with him that day, however he has decided to take i...

Great photos Ollie. Typically they ran while I was at work today.
