Re: St Eval & St Merryn
Looks good. Where are the Nissen huts from? I guess the one on the left is Hornby Skaledale but what about the other two? It's taken a year but I can answer Skyblue's question as I was at the Farnham show today and http://www.gramodels.co.u k were there. It's model number 760 (£19.95) and I cut it ...

Re: The Great Electric Train Crush
I used to do a show at Gaydon when I had my rc plane company, it was always squeezed in and a nightmare. Routeways that you couldn't get two people past. Certainly not safety minded in the event of a fire.

Re: My New Layout
Your attention to detail and a bravery with new loco's is superb - mine tend to sit for a few weeks as I (a) save the cash for a sound chip and (b) pluck up the bravery to dismantle a model!

Re: Kernow O2... Have you got yours?
Just had a chat with them, because I had ordered it with the gates stock it came through as Interlink but in fact it was first class, so probably arrive tomorrow... Trouble is every time I say, "no more loco's", they bring something else out... Z class tank is on order, and now I "nee...

Re: Kernow O2... Have you got yours?
Good point, I've amended the title, thanks
Though I expect you'll be waiting a bit longer for Heljan's version!
Anyway, I've emailed Kernow about the (lack of) interlink next day delivery

Re: Come on everybody
I tried to take part in the first one but what with new baby, work and the bizarre coincidence that whenever I find an hour to do some tinkering, my fire pager goes off, ruining any chance. SO I stopped signing up to them because it would end with a monthly "sorry, I'm not going to complete thi...

Re: Correct OO scale people and vehicles
I found the problem when I started putting drivers in cars - now some of my vehicles (Army/RAF) are Airfix, some tamiya, some Oxford and so on so the scales vary between 1/76 and 1/72 but even so, it's amazing how much of a plastic bloke you have to cut off to make it look like he's driving! But my ...

And its not an easy task in the Beattie well tank! Luckily the driver and fireman hide the speaker quite well.

Re: The future of rtr?
Mines been fine, to the point I "lost" the smoke box door and found it over the weekend during a tidy up - by found it I mean saw it in the dyson dust contained and saved it. I just wish I hadn't do chop so much of the Beattie tank to fit the speaker.
