Re: Additions for inclusion in the Other manufacturers list

Rapido have been working on some N gauge stock for RevolutioN Trains , I believe the tooling for the Pendolino passes into Rapido ownership after the initial models are made (future models can't be made for two further years if memory serves), not sure about the TEA and PFA/KFA wagons and class 321...

Re: Pendolino in N - crowd sourced

Hi Michael

As I said, if you have an order confirmation from Rapido then nothing more needs to be done.

As Ben said, we are still going ahead to the original plan.

Cheers, Mike

Re: Pendolino in N - crowd sourced

Hi Michael I know that Rapido have been run off their feet with a new product launch and show. My understanding is that until you hear any different (and I don't expect you to!) that Rapido will honour the order, but I'm a little confused by what you say in your post - did you order via our website ...

Re: Pendolino in N - crowd sourced

Our manufacturer has already got permission from Virgin. The 11-car set was difficult to fit into the restrictions of what we can order in terms of production runs (which was predicated on a run of 1000 9-car sets). What we are proposing is that 3 of the sets will be the full 9-car sets. The fourth ...

Re: Raspberry PI

Has anybody heard any more news on this possibility? Just wondered as I have bought a Raspberry Pi and was thinking of possible uses the other night. Dave Hi Dave Have a look on the jmriusers Yahoo group for how people have got on with it. The issue seems to be that as currently set up that the GUI...

Re: modern rail transfers website - DO NOT USE

I think you need to relax a little - 10 days is not a lot of time for small manufacturers. If you are not getting a response then possibly he has sent them and they were lost, or he has a technical problem or even worse he is ill. It could literally be any one of 10 things preventing him getting in ...

Re: DEMU Showcase 2012

Just a few days until we open the doors for DEMU's Showcase 2012 and we hope to welcome you at Burton Town Hall. Final details are as above with one change - Steve Farmer has been unwell and unfortunately is not able to bring Parkhouse, instead we have the EM Gauge Society coming along. The final fl...

Re: Lafarge wagons...

The Lafarge JPAs are definitely FL flows rather than EWS. Earles to Theale or West Thurrock.

EWS run the Castle JPAs on the Clitheroe - Mossend flow.

Re: PCI cards and USB controllers

And that is exactly the point of computers - to make things simple. Or to offer you additional functionality/flexibility. Btw, if one went the Digitrax route (or any other), can you get by without a controller by simply plugging a PC into the command power supply? You can if you use the set up I id...

Re: PCI cards and USB controllers

I am not quite sure what you are getting yourself so worked up about. Take one Sprog, download JMRI and voila you have a DCC computer controlled layout. If you have lots of money then add Railroad &Co. Plenty of choices out there. I suspect that you are actually complaining that it isn't easy en...

Re: Scratchbuilt bogies , can it be done using styrene ?

IIRC Colin Craig is going to do some Schlieren bogies as well, see here: http://colincraig4mm.co.uk/#/bogies/4553870602

Might be worth asking Colin when they might be available.
