Re: London loft build

Hi 8vchris. Is that 8v as in 8 valves?

Not done much of late. Work & domestic life consume pretty much 99% of my time. That remaining 1% I seem to spend idling thinking about what I haven't been able to do in the 99% that I was doing something else. Anyway stop moaning me & crack on.

Re: London loft build

Thanks PinkNosedPenguin - me too!

I did think about another online account. But the risk of someone else chasing the $$ and monetising their site in an aggressive way is a bit dull.

Re: Photobucket 3rd Party Hosting

TIme to DIY? http://bit.ly/2uJNb4I So if you have an 'unlimited' connection at home & lucky enough to live in a decent bandwidth area (upload) then you maybe good to do your own thing. Although a fair use policy may apply in some cases. Traffic shaping also may slow things during peak hours. Lux...

Couldn't find anyone who had any there. However it was quite busy. Spent £30 on some Evergreen plastic bits. Am in the wrong business...!

Re: London loft build

Hey Bufferstop - I have pushed a Bachmann Mk1 across the incline/decline & its not binding or fouling. My stock is 99.9% modern image so no kettles here. Its all post TOPS era diesels, multiple units etc. I had an incline on v1.0 of this layout of similar steepness - there's a pic of it on page ...

Re: London loft build

So that section is about a metre long & the incline is about 70mm. Then it stays at that level along a 9mm ply top held up on a length of CLS. Haven't built the descent yet... At weekend I will try and power up that section & run a loco dragging something & see what happens! TBH am not s...
