Re: Adding Pickups to Your Locos/tenders

A friend of mine bought some of the DCC Concepts pickups but didn't use them because of how stiff they were.

Re: Sentinel & DCC

I've had issues with them too. A loco going to and fro from here in Australia, three times because the job at their end wasn't done properly. OK it didn't leave me out of pocket but it was frustrating when I even asked them to check the tender wiring, only to hear that they had but couldn't find any...

Re: Heljan Locos - Are they any good?

Re: Wykeham - Somewhere in the South.

The station kiosk did eventually get some customers."Two teas and a Kit Kat please" Nah, Sir Max Beergutt and the Honourable Henrietta Horse didn't get that stocky by sharing a Kit Kat. I reckon it would be "and a Dundee cake each please, no need to slice it." On the quest...

Zimo MX658N18 and stay alives.

Hi all, Long time player of trains but need some advice from someone that knows. I've been in touch with Stephan Hubinger at Zimo in Austria who tells me that the most capacitance I can attach to one of these decoders is: two 47µf x 20v Tantalum cap's. I'm not disbelieving him but wondered if there'...

Thanks for the info'. I thought the wiring must have gone along the back of the gate, but you never know for sure unless you ask.
